Problem Solving Challenge!
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has a problem. A female dotterel has been frightened away from her nest and left two eggs. The nearest incubator, to keep eggs alive, is two hours drive away along a bumpy windy track.
Your challenge:
Design and make a container to protect the eggs on their bumpy journey. Find a way to test your container, use hens eggs, before the precious dotterel eggs are put in it.
As you can see from the photos the children had a great time. Testing the containers was a series of thrills and spills. Not one egg was scrambled!
Try this at home!!

Finished Castles!!!!
Jo came in last week to help us design our castle windows and doors. Then we drew and painted them on. They look wonderful. I liked making the castle because it was fun!
