People Polluting Penguin's Nests

We learned that some people are putting their rubbish into Little Blue Penguins' nests when they visit the beach. This rubbish could be fatal if the baby penguins eat it, and it could trap the birds in the burrows. It also means that birds may have to go further to nest, having to cross a busy road, and farmland.
We did some writing from a penguin's point of view.

"I think you should not come to our beach if you are going to litter our burrows. I feel horrific, terrified, angry, upset and sad.
So make your decision and use the bin. Otherwise you won't be welcome. So stop littering our burrows!"
By Sid

"Please don't make us extinct. I think you should leave our beach. We penguins are mad! I feel sad. Don't rubbish our beach!"
By Zeph

"I think you should stop rubbishing our burrows, otherwise I don't think you should come to the beach!"
By Cain

"I am a Little Blue Penguin. Please don't rubbish our burrows, or we will be very sad. If we have to find a new nest we might go on to farm land, and have to cross the road. If we cross the road we will be run over by cars."
